Sound post-production,
from concept to screen

ISKA sound is a tandem of sound engineers — Andrei Kartsev and Iuliia Sorokina. We work together across every stage of audiovisual production and post-production: from developing the sonic concept and location recording on set, to recording, editing and mixing dialogue, Foley, SFX, ambient sound and music.

We work across cinema, television, podcasts, audiobooks and multimedia projects. Graduates of both VGIK (Moscow, 2014) and the University of Padova (Padua, 2026), we bring over a decade of combined studio practice to every project we take on.

Andrei Kartsev

Sound engeneer, recordist, editor, mixer and sound designer with over ten years of experience across fiction film and documentary, television, animation, advertising, podcasts and audiobooks. Trained at VGIK (Moscow, 2014, with distinction) and the University of Padova (2026, with distinction). Alongside his production practice, he pursues academic research in film sound narratology.

Iuliia Sorokina

Sound recordist, editor, mixer and sound designer with over ten years of experience in cinema and television post-production. Trained at VGIK (Moscow, 2014, with distinction) and the University of Padova (2026, with distinction). Her work spans the full cycle of film sound production. In 2021 she received a prize from the Russian Ministry of Culture for her research on film sound.
